    22-02-2017 - Willemstad, Curacao. Recent newspaper articles reported from various sources that both InselAir Curacao and Aruba were unsafe. Both Civil Aviation Authorities of Curacao and Aruba constantly perform oversight exercises on the operations of the two airlines. Both airlines do respond immediately to any findings that for which they are made aware and do present their correctives measures to the Aviation Authorities for their approval. read more

  • Airport Mirador temporarily inaccessible for public due to maintenance work

    15-02-2017 - Willemstad – The viewing area at Curaçao International Airport, also known as the mirador, will be closed for public starting February 14th until the end of March. This, due to maintenance work carried out by Curaçao Airport Partners on the infrastructure and surrounding area. In order to ensure public safety, the mirador will be closed off completely during the stipulated time period and not be accessible for public, nor will it be possible to use the stairway or park at or near the mirador. read more

A team of inspectors of the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate have conducted a partial audit at InselAir Aruba and a preliminary audit at InselAir Curacao this week. At InselAir Aruba the inspection did result in 2 findings which were of an administrative nature. On Curacao no particular findings were reported. read more
